Knowing was an unusual movie. My husband and I watched it recently, and I must say that it certainly had an ending I was not expecting.
On Blu-ray, the special effects were great. The movie stars Nicolas Cage, Rose Byrne and Chandler Canterbury. The story deals with a coded message which Professor John Koestler (played by Nicolas Cage) finds eerily predicts disasters. I must say that the ending was not exactly what I was expecting, it was what I would call bittersweet.
There are a few special features, such as audio commentary by the director and the making of the movie. Not too much in special features, but that didn't really bother me. I'm mostly interested in the movie itself.
My husband thought the movie was fair. It wasn't the best I've ever seen, but I did like it and would watch it again. The acting was good, the special effects were great, and the story was interesting.
This movie is rated PG-13 and is approximately 121 minutes in length.
