Among my family and friends, I am always the one who takes pictures at every event. Whenever aunts, uncles, cousins or friends want photos of something or someone, they come to me. As a result, I have TONS of pictures, many of which I like to display around my house. However, I am not one to keep a zillion tchotcke frames on every flat surface, since I dislike clutter so intensely. I figured that if I had just one digital photo frame, I could display numerous pictures (and even videos) in it, thereby displaying a bunch of my favorites without having lots of framed pics around collecting dust. Thankfully, my thoughtful husband knew that Christmas would be the perfect opportunity to buy me one.
Although I am far from tech-savvy, I am pleased to report that I was able to set up this frame in under 5 minutes since it was, as promised, completely plug and play. I inserted the power cord and then my camera's memory card, and voila, a slide show of all the pics and videos I've taken recently.
The frame itself is black. It has an internal memory of 128 MB, and comes with Kodak's Easy Share software, which makes it easy to copy pictures or videos from my computer to my memory card for use in the frame. There is a tiny remote to control the frame, but there are also on-frame controls which can be used to change selections and functions.
I'm enjoying this frame, and would definitely recommend it!
