I purchased this printer to go along with my Kodak Easy Share Camera this past summer. It is very versatile in the size and number of pictures that you can print at any one time. It was a bit unnerving the first time I used it because the picture started coming out the front of the printer and it was all yellow but then the printer pulled it back in and it came out with the red tones and so on until it finally came out in the full color that I expected.
I wanted to be able to take and print pictures because two of my children were to be married within 6 weeks of each other and I knew we would have guests from out of state as well as out of the country who would want to take pictures back home with them. It did prove to be very convenient and easy to use for this. Although I didn't, I actually could have taken it to the reception and printed pictures for our guest from there.
The system was very easy to use but I have to say that purchasing the correct picture paper and ink cartridge package was my biggest challenge. It seems that Kodak makes different sizes and systems to fit the different printers that they sell and although the packages look very very similar, there is little to no good and direct information on the actual packaging to help you to realize which printer dock the paper in each package is compatible with. After purchasing the wrong package of ink/paper two different times I finally had to make notes to take with me as to the exact style/size of paper/ink package I needed, to take to the store with me.
Once that obstacle was behind me though, I have really enjoyed my printer and I love being able to park my Kodak camera right atop the printer/dock in order to recharge the batteries in the camera. If I keep it there when not in use I never have to worry about low batteries when I need to use my camear
