I love MTV's unplugged specials that the feature with musicians who usually don't play unplugged. Unplugged means that an artist is playing an acoustic set with acoustic instruments. An unplugged performance is usually a lot more intimate performance with the audience. When I found out KoRn was doing an MTV Unplugged special, I was ecstatic and looking forward to it.

They first aired the special on MTV and it was incredible. A few weeks later, they released the cd from the performance. It was released on 3/6/2007. The track list is:

1.) 'Blind' - This song is probably one of the most popular KoRn songs and definitely one of most known KoRn songs. The original version of this song is the first song on KoRn's first album and it was KoRn's first single. The acoustic version of this song is incredible and sounds amazing. I was alittle scared to hear this song acoustically but it definitely was great.

2.) 'Hollow Life' - The original version of this song is from KoRn's album, 'Untouchables'. I enjoy the acoustic version very much.

3.) 'Freak On A Leash' (with Amy Lee from Evanescence) - I am not a huge fan of Evanescence but I think Amy Lee did an amazing job singing on this song with Jonathan Davis. This song is the single off of the acoustic album. The original version of this song was the second single from KoRn's album, 'Follow The Leader'. The original version of this song was very popular because of the music video for it. ("The one with the bullet", as most people would say").

4.) 'Falling Away From Me' - The original version of this song is from KoRn's album, 'Issues'. I was alittle nervous when I heard they were going to do this song acoustically. However, I think it turned out really well and the acoustic arrangement from it was very good.

5.) 'Creep' - The original version of this song is by Radiohead. I think Jonathan Davis did an amazing job singing this. I was very impressed. This is one of my favorite songs off this album.

6.) 'Love Song' - No, this track is not a cover of the song by The Cure. There is actually a KoRn called 'Love Song'. The original version is on KoRn's album. 'See You On The Other Side'. The acoustic version is very good and very pretty. I love the acoustic guitar sound in it.

7.) 'Got The Life' - The original version of this song was the first single from KoRn's album, 'Follow The Leader'. I am going to be honest, I like the original version alot better than the acoustic version.

8.) 'Twisted Transistor' - The original version of this song is from KoRn's album, 'See You On The Other Side'. I love both versions of this song!

9.) 'Coming Undone' - The original version of this song is from KoRn's album, 'See You On The Other Side'. The acoustic version of this song is very well arranged.

10.) 'Make Me Bad/In Between Days' (with The Cure) - This song has two songs put together all in one and is performed with The Cure. 'Make Me Bad' is an original KoRn song from their album 'Issues'. 'In Between Days' is a very popular song by The Cure. I love how they mended these two songs together, it switches back and forth but it does it in such an amazing way, it just sounds like one song. I think Robert Smith and Jonathan Davis sound so amazing together.

11.) 'Throw Me Away' - The original version of this song is on KoRn's album, 'See You On The Other Side'. The acoustic version is very cool, it features this cool thing with drums. It's hard to explain but just to check it out, it's pretty awesome sounding!

I definitely this cd is a must have for anyone, but especially a KoRn fan.
