Well, after all of these years of going from sanitary napkin to tampon...this product, that product...I think i'm highly qualified to say Kotex is the best for us "healthy" women.
Plastic is plastic but SatinSoft plastic is comfortable versus cardboard and regular plastic applicators. The rounded end of the applicator also makes for comfort during application vs that cardboard.
Kotex does carry a variety of tampon sizes to fit our different needs, but I stick with SuperPlus because as I get older I never know what my body is going to do each month. SuperPlus holds 12-15grams. Super holds 9-12grams. Regular hold up to 6-9grams.
Being a "healthy" woman I have found that tampons are easier to use vs fighting with sanitary napkins. I couldn't take getting sweaty and losing stay in place power with or without wings, or using longer ones that bunched up in the back. So to spare myself the embarrassment of losing one down my leg or something I chose to use tampons.
I am sure that prices may vary by region, but in my experiences Kotex has always been cheaper than other brands. Cheaper doesn't always mean less quality. *Yay*
Now, if you are in any way allergic to cotton, rayon, polypropylene or polyester then well you better stay away from these.
