We recently purchased the Krups Electric Kettle and are completely impressed with it. We drink tea just about everyday and usually use the watter kettle on the stove method to heat up the water. We could never get the amount of water for each serving just right and it would take about 10 to 15 minutes for the water to heat to a boil. The Krups Electric Kettle solves both of these problems.
You can measure how much water to heat by watching the water level rise on the see through window with measurement lines. We usually heat up about 32 ounces at a time. This takes less than 5 minutes to heat heat up to a boil. Once the proper temperature is reached, the kettle turns off automatically. I love this feature because it eliminates the "leaving it on by accident" danger.
This kettle allows you to heat anywhere from 17 to 54 ounces at a time. It uses a 1750 watt heating element on the detachable base to do so. This kettle also has a filter in the spout that removes impurities in the water.
This product only has a one year limited warranty on manufacture defects, but so far everything is working great. I would recommend this product to any tea or coffee drinker who uses a coffee press.
