Well, this is my 2nd tire review, but I have nothing to say but good things about these tires. It was a surprise how much I really like these.
I have a Jeep Liberty V6, but only 2 wheel Drive... I live in upstate NY, and well, we get snow.. This year I was in search of some new tires, since the factory ones (goodyear wranglers) only lasted me 22000 miles, and wouldn't make it through an inspection.
I got online, did all my research, and originally picked out a different tire entirely. The other tire was more expensive, and I would have had to order it from a dealer... So.. onwared I searched. I knew Sears had a Tire center, along with other's such as Sams club, BJ's, and Walmart.. But Sears had these at a very low price.. I called and confirmed that although they didnt have them in stock, I could get them in a week.
I got to sears, they have an express lane (oil changes, tires..), so it took me about 5 minutes to check my car in, and about an hour later they were on my car.
Good thing I had them done, the next day was the test.. SNOW! and we got it! These are some of the best tires I really could have found.. I do not have 4 wheel drive, so I am dependent on the tires to get me through the snow... The old tires would spin on the wet blacktop.. Not these.
They really are great at gripping the snow, weather its sticky, or fluffy... I love them. Now we have had some dry weather, so I can tell you, that these are very quiet on a dry road as well. I thought if they are good in the snow, they might be noisy, but they are not.
They have handled snow, dry roads, and do not slip on wet pavement....
One of the other things that lead me to buy these tires was the treadlife warranty for this brand. Its an amazing 6 Years / 60, 000 Miles! Now, you have to make sure you get your tires rotated, and keep track of that, all the tire companies can give you a hassle, if you do not keep up with that..
I really recommend this particular tire for snow use... well, and for everyday driving... Its been safe for me.
