"Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure" was a long awaited sequel to the original movie, "Lady and the Tramp." It is worthy of carrying on the name of that title and the Disney name brand. It is a great movie for the entire family - parents and children will find something enjoyable in this movie. It is the story of Scamp, the puppy of Lady and Tramp. He is a very rambunctious puppy who seems to find trouble everywhere he goes. Deciding he doesn't want to be a "house dog" anymore, he runs away and meets a beautiful pup named Angel and a group of dog gang members led by Buster. Scamp really wants to prove how tough he is, but is also scared of abandoning his family and their love. Of course, true to Disney stories, Scamp realizes how lucky he is and everyone has a happy ending.
We love the music in this movie. It is very catchy and keeps us interested throughout the entire thing. Being a child of the 80's, I was also thrilled to hear the voices of Scott Wolf and Alyssa Milano. We are big fans of bonus features in our house, and in this respect, this movie doesn't live up to the first movie. The only 2 notable features on this movie is that I enjoyed watching the video "from Tramp to Scamp" which is the making of "Lady and the Tramp 2" and my daugther enjoys three classic Pluto cartoons that are on the DVD. So while this is a great movie that we really enjoy watching, it does not have all that great bonus features.
