We all need deodorant to make sure we smell good and keep our armpits from leaking. Some brands are better than others though. It could be depending on the price or the brand. Some of the cheaper ones or make-shift brands like the ones you find in the street corner stores just don't deliver. You still sweat, you still smell and it clumps and stains your clothing. Yuck! So here are my thoughts on a type of deodorant that I just bought. I used Ban before but it got expensive so I tried the Lady Speed Stick since it was cheaper. Also I wanted to test its "black dress approved" saying. That would be a blessing! How many times have I wore dark colors and it had white streaks in my clothing that sometimes wouldn't come out. So I gave it a whirl. My first plus is that it doesn't burn a hole in my pocket. It's a decent price for what you get. Also it goes on sale frequently so you can stock up. When I got mines there was a $10 for 10 items sale going on. Cha-ching! I love that. Next, I like how inviting the product looks. I know that the outside decoration has nothing to do with the effectiveness of the product but I tend to be drawn to things that look like some thought was put into it and not just slapped on. Oh let's put a green stripe on a brown bottle and call it a day. I avoid that. If the outside decoration looks half-par then most likely the product will follow. The Lady Speed Stick comes in a nice sized light purple container with designs depending on the scent of it. The one I use is Wild Freesia so it has flowers on it. Then it has this interesting swirl shape going on with the lid and curves on the sides (I'm guessing to represent the woman's body since it's for women) that makes it look sleek and shiny. Now for the product itself. In my opinion, it works well. It doesn't coat your armpits with a white substance (unless you put A LOT on) so it goes on clear as it claims. After hours of heat and movement it doesn't clump, itch, or wear off. The scent isn't overpowering. I feel clean and fresh all day no matter how hectic my day gets. The major point I have is that it doesn't stain dark clothing! So it is black dress approved. I can wear my darks without fear. I like this a lot. I'm content with my results.
