Our basement gets pretty cold in the winter. I do spend time working down there, so decided to buy a little portable heater. This one by Lakewood looked sturdy enough on the box cover, so I bought it.

At first glance this heater looks like something caught in a time warp, with it's metal housing. It might not have a contemporay look, but it does the job of keeping me warm when working in my basement, even during the coldest winters.

This portable space heater stands less than 2 feet high. It's lightweight. The handle on top makes it easy for me to move it around the basement. It has two speeds, 750 and 1500 watts. The fan inside pushes warm air out. This unit has a temperature controlled thermostat.

There is a dial on front that lets you control how much or how little warm air you would like in the room. After a while, you get used to how much you need to comfortably heat the room.

We take great care with this space heater as you would any space heater. We never leave it on unattended. Never leave it alone with children or pets. You need to read all the precautions with this heater.

I would recommend this heater to anyone that needs to keep a small space warm. We are very satisfied with this product.
