I grew up as a teenager searching for anything to remove the oils from my face and let me stop breaking out in zits. It was a long time ago, and western medicine hadn't caught up with supplements, especially the ability of Zinc to stop break outs. When I got very close to 50, I found I had to start adding oils to the eye area. And who says Mother Nature has no sense of humor?

Lots of money and failures later, I was convinced to try Lancome's Progres. I about choked when I found out it would cost $50.00 a jar and the jar would easily fit in the change pocket of a pair of Levi's. But hey, I was vain enough to not want my eyes to look like crepe paper. Those crow's feet were getting deep enough to hide coins in, too. So I popped for my first jar.

I am so glad I did. Not only did the skin around my eyes look fresh and healthy, even when I was tired or too sun-smacked, the stuff actually made puffiness disappear before going out the door. It did that any time of the day I put it on, too. You just use the tiniest dab and gently pat, pat, pat the dab around your eyes Just make sure you stay enough away that it doesn't get in your eyes. It is hypoallergenic, but it will still make you unconsciously wipe your eyes.

One caution: I was in a fancy department store and noticed a guy working there who obviously had a rough night. He had tried to hide it with an eye moisturizer, but forgot to blot off the excess. He had big, shiny rings all around his eyes. I checked the next time I used the Progres, and sure enough, if you don't blot gently with a tissue, it will look greasy. Save up and get a jar. You will thank me, even if you aren't over fifty!
