I have been going through a lot of nursing pads lately. I have been picking up any brand I can find, and have gone through two boxes of these Lansinoh nursing pads so far. Overall, I would say these pads work well, but are nothing special compared to all the other pads I have tried. You get 66 pads for this price, which I have found to be about average.
Each nursing pad comes in its own wrapper so they stay clean and sanitized in the box. The wrappers are perforated in the middle so all you need to do is hold one end and pull at the other end to open it. This makes it easy to open 2 at once, even when I have my little baby in my arms.
The pads have a strip of sticky on the back that help them stay in place in my bra, but it's not that much of a sticky strip. Usually the pad does stay just about where I put it, but if the pad gets too wet or I use them with my sleeping nursing bra they ten to slip around a little. I have never had any problems with the pads completely slipping off though.
These pads are thin, but do soak up a good deal of milk. They are very light weight, so I can tell when I have been leaking because they are much heavier. Even when I have saturated a pad, they feel dry to the touch. They do a great job of soaking the milk up and keeping it away from my skin. The back of the pads are like the back of a regular sanitary pad, I'm not sure if it is plastic, but it is waterproof. This helps keep the pads from leaking onto my shirt, and it has worked great so far.
