This was the first novel by Lauren Conrad. The book was about the life behind the scenes, since the main and secondary characters were on a reality tv show. People might get the impression that its an autobiography of Lauren, but its really not. There are one similarity between the main character and Lauren Conrad, and that is they are both a reality tv star. It was a good read. I got more than what I bargained for. I got this book because I wanted to see how Conrad would attack the writing scene. And she was better than what I expected. She was great with the writing, she kept the readers begging for more. There are just two things that I did not like about this book: the boring parts and the ending. The boring parts just makes you feel like going to the bathroom is more enjoyable than reading. The ending was somewhat like one of those "The Hills" season finale episode, it reels you in so you would want to watch the next season to get the answers you wanted. For some, that maybe an ok thing but for me it isn't.

I would recommend this for teenagers ( ages 14-17). Not so much to adults.
