Alright, we are suckers for anything lavender because the scent of this plant is known to calm the senses and make the body relax for a good sleep.

Our baby is very energetic and so we wanted to calm her down. That is why we keep on buying stuff with lavender. So far, the strongest lavender smelling product line is Johnsons. So aside from the wash and powder, we got the lotion.

One thing I noticed about Johnsons baby lotion is its consistency--it is not as thick and creamy, as say, Nivea baby lotion. It is rather "watery". It is good when I massage baby because it does not dry up fast, but I am not sure if it moisturizes my baby's skin enough. I just like it with the massage because I can go on for several minutes and the lotion still lubricates my hands pretty well.

However, in terms of scent, man! It is really strong. I mean it gives off a strong lavender scent. I love it! I think my baby is accepting it well because she doesn't have problems with it, like sneezing. But despite the strength of the lavender scent, it did not diminish my baby's activity throughout the day. She also doesn't get sleepy immediately at night.

Oh well, I guess I will just have to accept the fact that I have an energetic baby.
