We get a newspaper delivered free to our doorsteps here in Lawrence County, Tennessee twice a week for free of charge, this local newspaper is paid for solely by the advertisers.

They just recently started a website at : http://www.lawrencecountyadvocate.net/, and that is how we normally read it is on line. Most times the one that is delivered gets met by our neighbors dog, so we really appreciate that they now have it mostly on line. The only thing that you cannot read or see on line is the birth announcements, anniversary announcements, happy birthday ads, wedding announcements or other announcements that the public may bring in, but the high points and headline stories and honor roll list can be found on line, as well as the classifieds.

The newspaper is delivered twice weekly, on Sunday and Wednesday mornings. The Sunday paper is usually full of insert ad's as well as a full sport section. The Sunday paper is when they add a special section for real estate as well. The Wednesday section is much thinner and does not have as much in it, but has the community announcements such as blood drives, fund raisers, grand openings and such.

Overall The Lawrence County Advocate is a good newspaper, and as I said it is free to us, it is fully funded by the advertisers and is a much better paper than the only other paper here that is a paid subscription syndicate.
