My son received this as a birthday gift. It is the Lego Racers Phantom Crasher. It is fairly easy to put together. The ages are 7-12 years old, my son is 8 years old and he probably put it together in about 15 minutes.
It has 85 pieces.
The big thing that this does is it is a pull back motor. After you build it, you pull it back and off it goes. It will then crash into the wall or another object and some pieces will fall off. It isn't that realitic though because on the box it shows it really falling about and in reality only one piece falls off when it crashes into something.
It is an OK toy for kids. My son likes to put Lego sets together and then just display them so he really doesn't use the pull back motor too much.
Lego always makes dependable toys and this is no different. I just don't think there is a lot of play value in this toy. I guess it would depend on your child though.
