The Lenova 3000 N100 laptop is a good value system. The keyboard is ergonomically designed. I purchased this laptop six months ago and I am very satisfied with the product. I would recommend the Lenova 3000 series to anyone interested in buying a laptop. It has 1GB RAM memory and an Intel Dual Core processor that runs at 1.66 GHz. Downloads and searches are very fast.
The feature that I appreciate is the clarity and size of the screen. The system is installed with wireless and Bluetooth capabilities. I have a wireless modem on the desk top and the ease in setting up the wireless system on my laptop was a snap. The two computers can operate at the same time without losing any speed or efficiency due to the increased memory on the newly purchased wireless modem from Qwest.
The CD burner and player is quick and effient. It has four USB ports that are conveniently arranged on the side of the laptop. I use a wireless mouse and the USB port is conveniently set on the right hand side of the laptop. The other three USB ports are on the right hand side.
My only criticism is the wireless battery. I find that if I am working on projects that have graphics and sophisticated software, my battery life gets eaten up pretty quick. If I am away from an electrical connection in these circumstances I find the battery life is around two hours. I am considering purchasing an extra battery if my work requires me to travel.
I have no complaints about the Lenova Laptop 3000 series. The price was under $700. It is uncomplicated and best of all it is not quirky. It is a work horse computer.
