Les Miserables is a Broadway musical playing at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City. The original production closed a few years ago, but it recently opened again for a limited engagement. This is my favorite musical of all time.
Les Miserables is based on the classic Victor Huge novel. It is an epic story of the life of the character Jean Valjean, who spent 19 years in jail, and after he broke his parole, he created a new life. It is really a moving story, and the people that he meets throughout his life are very interesting.
The music in this show is quite beautiful and memorable. There is not one bad song in it. It is amazing to see these performers bring the characters to life with this wonderful music.
Ticket prices for Les Miserables range from $36 to $120. So while they have some expensive seats, it is nice to see that they still offer some at a reasonable price.
I highly recommend Les Miserables for anyone traveling to New York City. If you can only see one Broadway show during your visit, this is the one to see.
