I spend most of my limited free time in the kitchen concocting and creating, so I try to have at least one of every small appliance neccessary to make this a fun and easy recreation!

I was attracted to this blender initially for its design appeal. I loved its sturdy base and brushed nickel finish, however I am not one who will purchase on looks alone! It seemed to have the features I wanted - 5 speeds, dishwasher safe, ice crushing feature and the 56oz capacity jug meant it would be the perfect size for my needs.

I was not disapointed in any way.

It crushes ice like no other blender I have ever owned and is remarkably quieter than my previous ones. It blends evenly and does not require the usual scooping out around the bottom of the blades. I am very impressed by this product. It hasn't leaked, which is great, and I understand that the little washer on the bottom can be tightened if necessary, but I haven't had to do that thus far.

5-Speed blending capabilities offer me the opportunity to make everything from the lightest milkshake to the heaviest fruit smoothie (or Margherita if your tastes are more "adult") without straining the appliance in the slightest.

It is not an issue cleaning this either. No parts to disassemble, everything is permanently attached, just pop it in your dishwasher or "blend" some warm, soapy water around for a couple of minutes and it's clean!! Easy!

In addition to cleaning the jar, the actual base itself is very easy to maintain. It's smooth control panel is easy to wipe down with no large buttons to weave around and in between!

Overall

I really like this blender and trust that it will be a staple in my kitchen for a long, long time. I think you will be happy with it too.
