This is a review for the first version of the LG Chocolate cellular phone. The phone works pretty well for everything that it does. The sound quality is very good for a cell phone, though not quite as good as a dedicated mp3 player such as an iPod. The phone has a very sleek, stylish aesthetic, if that is important to you. The biggest advantage of the Chocolate is its size. It's certainly more convenient to carry one small device than both a phone and an mp3 player. It does have a couple of drawbacks though. Firstly, there will not be as much storage as most mp3 players, mine only goes up to 1gig though I believe newer models hold up to 4. The phone uses SDCards though so you can carry as much music as you want, provided you want to switch out and purchase multiple SDCards. The largest flaw to me though is the way the chocolate accepts earphones. Rather than a single headphone jack, the phone comes with a piece which converts the charger slot into a headphone jack. This converter does not work very well and tends to fall out of the phone, which means you have to stop and reconnect it. This is a major flaw and the only thing that keeps me from giving this phone a much higher rating.
