I happened to try this phone, LG KM335, when I stayed at my cousin’s house last month. She bought this phone just recently. We swapped phones at that time; she let me use this and I let her use mine. To be honest this is my first time using LG phone. So I have to learn a lot before using it properly. The design is classic candy bar, which I like. The display is not large, only about 2 inches. There are some LED lamps which will light when we get an incoming call, SMS, or when we want to call or play music. Hmm.. pretty impressive... :) As for the storage capacity, it can store up to 8GB with micro SD card. My cousin uses 4GB instead. With Java MIDP 2.0, I can play Java games and other applications. The camera is located at the back, and it’s a 3MP camera. Wow! The picture quality taken with the camera is below my Sony Ericsson’s. But I was fascinated at the autofocus and flash this phone has. Video recording is so-so, you could pick either in 3Gp or in MP4 format. The dual speakers make the sound from the MP3 player kicking! The equalizer is also there to make it complete. Further, this phone supports not just FM radio, but also AM radio. It’s a rare feature really, but I wonder if people ever want to listen to AM radio these days... lol.. Bluetooth and voice recording functions well, and you could set your recorded voice to be your ring tone. The battery used is lithium ion 1100 mAh. The average standby time is around three days. For connectivity, it’s a pity that it doesn’t support 3G. Rather, it only presents in EDGE and GPRS. Well, in summary, I like this phone. But maybe not as much as I love my Sony Ericsson.. :)
