Honestly, I bought this phone for 3 reasons:
1. It's orange.
2. It has a qwerty keyboard.
3. Solo was offering me everything I needed for about $10/month lower than every other company I had looked at - and with no startup fees.
It really is a great phone, though. It doesn't have nearly the battery life that my old one did - but they just don't make them like that anymore. My old one, after 3 years of use, still had a week-long battery life, and I have to charge this one about every 3 days. The reception is a little dodgy sometimes, but I can't say for sure that my new apartment isn't to blame for that.
Some people might find it a little bulky - if you like tiny phones, you're better off getting a sleek little flip phone. For me, however, the size is perfect. It's small enough to fit in my pocket, big enough to not get lost in my purse, and heavy enough that I notice when it's missing. It's also extremely durable, which is a must for me. Not only am I clumsy, but my jobs generally take me to high places - so any phone that can't survive a drop doesn't last long.
The keyboard took some getting used to, but now I can text with my eyes closed (which I could do just as easily on a number pad before). Make sure you test it out before you buy it, though. The keys are fairly small - I push them with the ends of my nails because my fingers are too big - so make sure you won't get frustrated by them.
As for features - I really don't use many of them. I've tried out the mp3 player, but it really isn't all that great. Maybe it's better with headphones, I was just using the phone's speaker. The camera is great, though. I can actually print decent 4x6 photos with it, though I wouldn't recommend going any bigger than that.
Overall, I'm happy with it. It's easy to navigate, great for anyone who texts constantly, and best of all... it's orange!
