I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with the overall quality of the LG Rumour 2. Since this was my first cellphone purchase I did a lot of research beforehand and this phone seemed to give me the greatest bang for my buck. It had all the features I wanted, for the price I was willing to pay.
Some of the features that impressed me the most were:
- A decent cell phone quality (1.3 megapixels) camera, that is easy to use and simple to upload your pictures to the internet or your computer.
- A QWERTY keyboard that lights up, which is useful in darker situations (outside at night, in a bar).
- An easy to use media player. The media player turns on with a click of a button, and you can adjust the volume even while the phone is locked.
- The built in speaker is also loud enough that I can place the phone in my pocket and hear the music crystal clear.
All of these features do exactly what I need them to and are relatively easy to use.
I have had this phone for almost a year and I have had zero problems with it so far. Outside of the occasional pocket dial (which are usually my own fault) this phone has done everything I have asked it to and more!
It is important to note that while I consider this phone incredible, it does not have 3G support; meaning the internet speed isn't all that great. If you are looking for a smartphone with 3G compatibility then this is not the phone you should purchase. However, if you are looking for a reliable, easy to use, sliding QWERTY keyboard, then I think this would be a great purchase for you.
