I like to try new different things so one day I decided to lighten my hair. My hair is already kind of light, but over the years it has gotten way darker so I wanted to go back to my lighter blond. I went to Walmart and purchased this Clairol Ultra light Blonde hair dye. Some of the ingrdents for this dye are water, ethoxydiglycol, propylene glol, sytrimonium cloride, amonium hdroxide, tisodium ehylenediamine disuccinate, oleic acid, fragrance, and cocamidopropyl betaine. I followed the instructions on the container, well someone else did for me cause I can not dye my own hair, and the dye seemed to work pretty well for me. It lightened my already light hair very nicely I love the bright blonde shade it is. Some people have complained that this certain brand is not good to use when your hair is darker, because it does not completly cover your darker color, it is not strong enough. I would suggest you bleach your hair or get it lightened somewhere professional if you have darker hair and you want it lightened. This ultra light blond hair dye has stayed in my hair longer than I excpected too, this brand is a good one to go with when dying your own hair at home.
