A friend of mine gave me a pair of Crocs Prima in gold for Christmas two years ago. The Prima is one of the earliest designs of Crocs before they added funkier and more colorful designs.
My Prima is sleek and nice, especially that my feet are small so they look so graceful on my feet. The rubber feels good on my feet and it does not make my feet smell bad. Maybe it is because there are holes all around so that air can flow through. At the same time, the gold color made my Prima looked classic and not like rubber shoes at all.
The only problem was that, the Prima, like any ballerina shoes, are flats--as in super flats. In them, I am like standing about 2mm from the ground. And since I am a small girl at 4'10", I look smaller in them. They are worse than flipflops.
Sigh...it is really too bad, because I like the Prima. It is very durable and comfortable and can withstand the puddles caused by the rain. But aesthetically speaking, they don't look good on me! Especially if I wear pants, the edge of all my pants reach the floor or the ground and they get dirty easily.
So I guess for the price, because it is really expensive at around 40$, I would not buy the Crocs Prima. However, since it was given, I am still thankful. I did use it quite a lot.
