"Lilo and Stitch" is one of the better movies that Disney has come up with in modern times. It is the story of an alien and a little girl who feels all alone in the world. The two team up and become the best of friends - in fact, more than friends, they become "ohana" which means family. They must fight off the evil aliens and save Lilo's falling apart family, and of course, in true Disney style, they do both with ease.
We have watched this movie so many times I couldn't even begin to guess at the number. It is an absolute favorite at our house. We love Lilo. She's such a precocious little girl - full of energy and fun. No matter how many times we watch this movie, we still laugh and laugh. Even more than that, this movie has awesome bonus features. My daughter loves to watch "Inter-Stitch-als" where Stich wreaks havoc in several Disney classics and watching the informative show about Hawaii. Ever since this movie came out, Hawaii has been on her list of vacation destinations.
If you have not added this movie to your collection, you most certainly should. It is too good to just rent - it must be owned so you can watch it over and over.
