I bought Liplicious Double Kiss for my mom as part of her Mother's Day gift. Little did she know that I would be borrowing it on numerous occasions. I know, I know. Bad Rachel!
The product is two-sided, with two purposes. One side is extra-scratchy and exfoliates dead skin on your lips via a solid stick of brown sugar. The other side soothes your freshly scrubbed lips with reddish balm.
The red balm's scent is Candied Apple. I think that it smells like that. The brown sugar side smells really good. It smells like maple sugar.
When I first heard about this portable lip scrub product, I immediately thought of my mom. She was having a problem with stubborn dead skin collecting on her lips. To try to alleviate it, she would put on copious amounts of lip balm and lipstick on her lips, but would always get the same result: lipstick colored clumps of dead skin on her mouth.
There are a couple of things I would change about the product. The red soothing side runs out much faster than the abrasive side. I thought this was a bit weird since the two sides were always used in conjunction with one another. I also had the problem of the red balm going outside my lip line. My mom did not have the same problem. I think I may have used too much product.
Liplicious helped my mom's lips a lot. She rarely gets the "dead skin cell attacks" anymore. Whenever she does, she simply scrubs the flakes away and soothes the area. I know she wants another for the next holiday.
I bought Liplicious from Weboffers on Ebay. Their shop can be found here: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/WebOffers_W0QQ_armsZ1
