The term jib means to board on top of and around a structure such as a stump, rocks, stairs, railings, rooftops, etc. Making this board the most aptly named product out there. It's not the best board to cruise around the mountain on, it'll bring you down the mountain, but not as well as other boards which is why I gave it a 3 for powder. It's great at top speeds though and holds it together surprisingly well on ice. I dinged it on contruction quality because, like all snowboards, the edges will need to be filed when you get it. Beginners stay away, this guy will eat you alive! Super touchy sharp response makes this board perfect for a half pipe or coming off a bench but you'll spend more time on your face if you can't perfectly link your turns or carve in your sleep.
Although this board scores low for beginners and moderate for powder it gets an overall 4.7 because it's named Jib and this board Jibs like nobodies business.
FYI I have '07 Burton Mission bindings with the high back for extra maneuverability.
