It has been a very long hard winter up here in the New England area. So far, I have managed to lose 3 pairs of gloves. My husband says that I'm as bad as the kids!
My mom bailed me out one cold day when she loaned me her LL Bean Warm Up Gloves. Like most LL Bean products, these gloves are very good quality. They are very thick and have a warm fleece liner inside.
I like that the palm has a gripper like material because the rest of the outer glove is kind of a slippery nylon material. I also like that the wrists on these gloves are elastic. That really cuts down on the amount of snow and cold air that gets to your hands.
These gloves are a bit bulky which makes them very difficult to drive with, especially if you are driving a standard.
My mom said that these gloves were about $15 at our local LL Bean Outlet store. A little more than I am used to paying; however, these seem to be a very warm glove. I would imagine these gloves will last her quite a long time.....unless I "borrow" them and lose yet another pair of gloves!
