Trust me when I say, DO NOT underestimate the power of 2.1 speakers. This guy is NOT BAD at all.

It comes with two compact satellites a not so compact subwoofer (but then again, can you find me one that is?) and it has a wapping 200watts of power, aint too shabby for a three piece. It is very price efficient, since I bought mine used for only 80 dollars while the brand new ones are merely 100 nowadays.

I have to say, for what it's worth, the sound is dynamic. You can crank it up to full blast and you won't hear any distortion except from maybe your ear drums popping but who can blame the speakers for that right? It has a easy to use control panel with a nob for volume and another for bass. When I'm feeling humble and peaceful, low bass with some Enya brings out the serenity even in my downtown apartment. However when my friends come over for some predrinking and I need to liven the mood a little, Sean Diddy Combs has never sounded better with the bass cranked on high and the volume nob about 75% full.

For your average music listener, this is A OKAY. If you are looking for better sound, you'll have to invest more money. If you are content with better than mediocrity for a fair price then Z2300 has your name written all over it!
