When I first smelled this lotion, I did not know what to make of it. It smelled just like my bargain shaving cream, Colgate with Aloe. It also smells somewhat like a blend of soap, cologne and baby powder. Not my typical scent at all!
I received a sample set of Signature Moisture Balancing Body Lotion in a 3.4 fl. oz. / 100 mL size with a shower gel free by participating in a promotion on their website.
I became familiar with the brand through word of mouth. A friend of my mom's told her about them and how she uses their products. I had never heard of them before.
Though the fragrance wasn't really my thing, I gave the product a shot. I'm open-minded like that. This has a thinner, runny sort of consistency. Like its name suggests, it is definitely more of a lotion than a cream. Due to this more fluid texture, I am able to cover more surface area wherever I am moisturizing and finish the job sooner, which I like.
Though this seems like a light formula, it leaves my skin soft and not greasy at all, which is big for me. It also absorbs quickly. I have no idea how or why, but the fragrance has really grown on me. Once it's on, it sort of smells like a really feminine version of cologne (If that makes any sense). I really like it now. The fragrance stays and stays as a subtle scent on my skin.
The size I received isn't for sale on their site. An 8.4 fl. oz. / 240 mL size of this body lotion is sold for $33.00.
