Overall I was pretty pleased with the performance of this foundation - the coverage is similar to a liquid foundation, but looks more natural in my opinion. I have often used this without concealer, just dabbing the places that need a little more coverage with a small foundation brush. The color I got was great for my gold undertones and it has worked well with my tan. The SPF is great too, just not for photos! (This is something anyone should keep in mind when wearing a makeup with SPF... You will get that ghostly flash across your face in some instances if you're wearing an SPF). It is awesome because you can easily achieve a polished look with one step using this makeup.

However, I must say that "Powder Buff Natural Skin" unfortunately does not wear very well in humid conditions, and tends to sweat off or get defeated by my more oily days. Touch-ups can result in it looking cakey. For casual, light makeup days when you want to look natural and fresh, or for a day at the beach, this compact is awesome. The foundation can be applied with a damp sponge for more coverage, but this leads to an oxidized look sometimes so be careful with what primer or moisturizer you use underneath. Note: It looked flawless staying in the brand family with "mark.'s" "Get Primed for Perfection Face Primer." Try using a dry sponge for a very light look, or use a foundation brush for the most flawless natural look, wet or dry.

I asked my mother to order it for me from her Avon representative, and it cost $12, which was wonderful since the product lasted quite a bit longer than similar compact powder foundations from the drugstore. When I hit pan towards the end though, the product cracked and was in pieces, leaving me to applying it with a wet brush as the best option.

The color selection was easy to use even though I had to pick by just looking at the pictures online - they are true to life, so to speak. I was happy with the undertones - it is true to its name "natural skin" and does not leave a grey unflattering pallor that some powder foundations do. I highly recommend this product to those with dry or combination skin, and those in less muggy climate conditions! As I said, it left me satisfied most of the times, but I may be looking for something with a little stamina just because my skin and environment require it.

Give this a try though, because this type of performance, color selection and look doesn't often come at such a lovely price. My experience has been that "mark." products are generally charming, fun to use, pretty pleasing, and their price makes it easy to at least decide to give them a shot. This foundation is no exception.
