So I had my eyes checked and didn't really need new glasses - my prescription hadn't changed. Nonetheless, I let my eyes wander over the frame cases at Lenscrafters and a pair of glass frames called out to me. Of course, I had to try them on.
The frames are plastic. The color is a warm mahogany brown, but here are the reasons they are super-cool: the inside of the frames are a honey color and glimpses of that honey color show around the lens, they are retangular and flatter almost every face shape (even my round one) and they are embellished on the outside of each lens with lines of golden-colored crystals. The Versace logo is raised and metallic, sitting along the side of the frames.
It was love at first sight. I loved the frames. All the sales clerks loved the frames on my face. I ordered the lens (bi-focal) and waited for my finished product. Within two weeks, I had my new glasses. They look fantastic - they even look good on my teddy bear, as you can see. And this is the truth, every single time I wear them out, I get stopped and complimented on my glasses. Everyone wants to know where I bought them. My husband laughs the minute someone says, "Excuse me...." because he knows it is another compliment on my Versace glasses.
What could be better than being able to see clearly while looking good?
