I took a lot of time researching strollers and baby gear when I was pregnant with my first child. Upon the recommendation of a friend and against the recommendation of many books and websites, I chose the Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe as my main stroller.
I purchased it as a travel system with an infant car seat, which I would review separately. This stroller is great for using with an infant all the way through toddlerhood. When she was still in the infant seat, I found the stroller still had sufficient storage to put my big, bulky diaper bag in the basket underneath. The stroller was easy to assemble and to snap the car seat in and out of. There is a huge sunshade to protect your little ones from the dangers of the sun as well.
As a toddler, I love that it fully reclines and we can nap her while we are out for a long stretch of time. There is a five-point harness, which I appreciate as the highest standards of safety and they are also easy to adjust (you could just use it as a three-point harness, if you prefer). There is a handy snack tray which you can also remove if you don't want/need it. I find it handy to place her sippy cup and handful of snacks while we are out and about.
There is a great parent tray of accessories as well: two cup holders, sunglass holder, cell phone/keys/wallet compartment, digital clock/thermometer. I know these are not necessities, but I find them to be nice luxury accessories included on this stroller. I also appreciate the true one-hand collapse system, which makes putting it in and out of the car that mush easier.
The main complaints I have heard about this stroller are that it is too heavy and hard to maneuver. It is a heavier model at almost 27 pounds...but it is not like I am carrying it around! It is easy enough to lift in and out of my trunk when I need to. It is a little wider than most strollers, so it can get tricky in tight spaces. However, I do feel that the many advantages of storage space and bonus accessories outweigh these two concerns. I love to use it and it would be hard to switch now.
