When my husband and I were just dating, he would always give me cards. He would have a greeting just for about anything, just a simple hello, to express his feelings, during our monthsaries, etc. And almost always, he gave me Blue Mountain Greeting Cards.
I really love those cards! And after all these years, I still keep them. The cards itself seem to really express what my husband feels in a certain moment. The words, it seems are like from him, like they were written for him so that he could give them to me. Sometimes, he would add a long personal note or just a short explanation at the end of the card's message. Or he would write something in between, like from the cover to the inside, he would insert his own thoughts.
The designs of the cards are very unique and the colors are subdued. I like the nature tones that are always used. And my husband would always choose the vertical long rectangle shaped cards. I am not sure how many of these cards he had bought all these years, but when we got married, I found several more cards that were unused stashed in his drawer! It seems that he bought a lot of cards altogether and when he feels like writing he would choose one card and personalized it. I loved everything that he gave me.
At that time, Blue Mountain cards cost about 50 cents a piece. But I am not sure how much they cost now.
