A friend of mine gave these Skechers winter boots as a X-mas gift. She knew I was moving to Lapland, Northern Finland, so she decided to buy me these as a preparation of my moving there. Now that I'm in Finland, I find that these WARM boots are VERY useful. I LOVE the warm lining (you can see the inner lining from one of the pics I've uploaded) and the fact that the heels are a bit high, but they don't make me have to walk like I'm wearing pointy high-heeled shoes. After all, it can be VERY slippery in winter and I'd want to wear shoes that make me feel confident walking. To be honest, I don't really like wearing pointy high-heeled shoes, so this type of heel is THE BEST kind for me.
I LOVE the colour of the shoes since I can combine it with any clothing colour since khaki is a neutral colour. I don't know the price of these since they were a gift, but I checked out Skechers' website and found out that a pair of winter boots that look like this costs $54 and up.
I've been using this pair of shoes when it's below -10'C outside for two years now and they're still reliable, good, warm, and intact. The best part is also that they're water-proof, so even if I want to play with snow or do any winter sports, I don't have to worry about getting my socks and toes wet! Plus as you can see from the pics, you can adjust the "stretchy cord" on the top part of the shoes to make sure that no snow come inside when you're wearing them to do any winter sports. They're definitely a keeper!
