We have tried several brands and variants of diaper on our baby in order to determine what is best for her and what would not be so heavy on our budget.
Among the low end diapers, I think that EQ Dry is the best. The outer covering is made of plastic so it is not breathable, but that is fine with me because I don't like the stink of breathable diapers. Secondly, it is very absorbent. My baby doesn't leak before 5 hours, or until the diaper is full because the pad is very absorbent. Thirdly, it is affordable. I also like the fact that it is colored white so it is just cute even when it sticks out of the panties. I also like the fit--it is so snug and the adhesives are secure.
However, unlike Huggies Dry Comfort, it could not last all night long. So I only use it on baby during the day when she needs a lot of diaper changes, like two or three, because of wee volume and of course poop. But since it is reasonably priced, I don't think it is such a waste.
I am so happy with this brand of diaper that we have already bought up to XL during the diaper sale in a local grocery. But for nighttime, I use a different brand that can last over night.
