Honeymooners can find Tagaytay City one of the best places to go after the big day (wedding). Why wife and I picked it to spend the first week of our lives as husband and wife? The highland Tagaytay is far from the buzz and pollution of the urban life. The cool weather is perfect for honeymooners and it is not crowded with people. We reserve a week vacation in one of the hotels where we have a time sharing account. It has 2 swimming pools, parking space and its own restaurant.
Aside from cleanliness and serenity this place has to offer, we had an amazing days hopping into great places like Picnic Grove and the adjacent Taal Lake. We were able to see the strawberry plantation as well as the nearby flower plantation where most of the natives get their living. We enjoyed eating fresh vegetables in their farm like lettuce. The city housed some convents and churches perfect for retreats and spent solemn masses with other local and foreign visitors.
There are many eateries to choose from. We were able to taste the famous Bulalo of Tagaytay and other delicacies of the city like Buko Pie, Pastillas and Kesong Puti (white cheese). There are fine dining restaurants to cater foreign tourists.
I have nothing to say with this place in terms of things it can offer to newly wed like us. Places, food, people, recreation, and many more. This is highly recommended for new couples to spend few days or weeks as husband and wife. They will truly enjoy the place and they will great bonding with each other.
