My son loves this game, and well, I don't hate it, but I don't exactly share his extreme fondness of it either.
Lucky Ducks is a game where little plastic duck sit in a circular belt that moves around the outside of the game board. The belt is made to look like a little river, and when you add the power of batteries, the "water" moves the ducks around in a circle. Each player has a cardboard nest with 4 colored dots on it. On their turn, a player picks up a duck from the pond and looks on the bottom of the duck. If the colored dot on the bottom of the duck matches one in their nest, they keep the duck. If not, the duck rejoins the rest still swimming.
I do like the fact that younger kids learn their colors playing this game, and that it is a very quick moving game. I don't like the fact that it uses up batteries very quickly, and is rather loud. There is really annoying music that plays with it too, which gets old very quick!
All in all, I would probably recommend this game; the kids seem to love it, and when it comes down to it, they are learning and having fun while doing it.
