I've learned about the former Priest Martin Luther on my Into to Theology subject before when I got a chance to enroll in a Bible School. When I saw that Luther's story was put into film, I was excited to it, so I rented the DVD. Award-winning screen and theater actor Joseph Fiennes is Martin Luther historical drama movie of life and faith from this renowned reformer. Screenplay and cinematography awesome and the scenes beautifully captured the old era in Luther's time. Educated and started up as a Catholic priest, Luther made a significant transformation on the truth behind the Roman Catholic practice regarding indulgence as atonement for sin. The church requires people to give money in exchange for something that should be given free. Luther did not shut his eyes but instead, he was the first to oppose the church that time which made even the Pope and the emperor be threatened for such revelation. But he learned to live up his faith... He was exiled and excommunicated by the church. That incident lights up the mind of his people to search the truth of the Bible themselves and not merely relying to the teachings of the church. Luther's heroic manifestation of his courage opens door to a massive reformation in the Christian faith.
For me this is a must see biopic movie.
