I was insecure about testing the convenience of such a thin and light "laptop" for use while I travel between work & home. I'm pretty hard on my equipment, as I expect it to be as resilient as I have to be. The Mac Book Air has proven to be just that. Its versatile while traveling in regards to "packability." I put it in my purse and its easily accessible on planes, in the car or even in restaurants. Very light weight and fast. Even while using PS with other apps open like WORD and INDD, I don't notice any upset in speed. While online, the browsing is superb for upload speed & surfing. A bit of a pinch when using 2 or more high memory apps while browsing the net which is easily fixed by quitting unnecessary apps while surfing the web.
