If you've read some of my other reviews, we get quite a few things from the bi-annual Disney Liquidation Sale in Orlando, Florida. This wall tapesty is no exception.

The retail price on these tapestries were $195.99 but we paid only $45 for it.

The tapestry depicts Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Pluto and Chip and Dale all marching in front of Cinderella's Castle - all while Tinkerbell flies overhead sprinkling her pixie dust. The tapesty measures 53.5 inches x 38.5 inches and came with a black iron rod with decorative end finials, plus all of the hardware to hang it up. There is a thin metal rod that goes through the bottom of the tapestry to help it hang down straight and not curl up, even in our humidity here.

The colors of this tapestry are beautiful. They are very vibrant and so perfectly done. This is my favorite piece because it's of my most favorite castle decorations that Walt Disney World has done yet. It's from the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Disney Land, where all of the parks were celebrating for almost a year and a half. Cinderella's castle was adorned with gold and shimmered so nicely in the Florida sunshine.

Cinderella's castle in this piece sparkles all over from the silver metallic thread woven throughout the white threads. The pixie dust from Tinkerbell is made of white and silver metallic threads. The outter "frame" of the whole scene is made of brown and gold metallic threads. The same threads are also in the goldtones on the castle towers.

This piece is not overly sparkly and is tastefully done. Each character has their own sparkles from metallic threads. The back is covered in a dark blue cotton fabric and the tapestry can only be spot cleaned. It can not be washed in a machine.

Made in USA

Update On Aug 07, 2010: We had some new friends over last night for dinner and they have 2 girls, 2 and 4 years old. They were infatuated with this tapestry and we kept talking about the characters on here. Every time the older girl tried to say "Chip and Dale" it sounded like "Chicken Dip". It was quite funny.
