Urza's Legacy is the 16th Expert Level expansion released. It was released in February 1999. The set featured the same mechanics as Urza's Saga but the power level of the cards were greatly decreased. The set primarily reprised the mechanics of echo and sleeping enchantments. The set is known for being the first set to inroduced premium foil versions of the cards.

The notable cards in the set were ring of Gix, Multani Maro Sorcerer, Weatherseed treefolk, Tinker, Rancor, beast of burden and Avalanche riders. I personally appreciated the introduction of foil premium cars but was apalled at the low power level of the set. The set contains very few tournament qualitycards and contains mostly themed cards.
