I was making some meat loaves over the Christmas holiday, and I needed to buy an inexpensive loaf pan. I found just what I wanted at Walmart, made by Mainstays.
This loaf pan did a decent job of baking my meat loaves. The size is 9 inches in length by 5 inches wide. It is made of durable construction and distributes heat evenly. The loaf pan that I have consists of a non-stick coating, which made cleanup very easy. You are recommended to use only nylon, wooden or rubber utensils with this loaf pan, as metal can scratch the surface. When washing, you are also recommended not to use steel wool or other abrasive scrubbers, but I did not find it necessary to scrub much anyway.
For an inexpensive loaf pan, I thought that this pan did a nice job, and I know I will be using it many times. The next thing I will probably bake in it is banana bread.
I gave warranty a low rating as I really do not know what type of warranty this pan has. It definitely suits my purposes, though.
I would recommend the Mainstays Loaf Pan if you are looking for an inexpensive pan that will still get the job done.
