When I first heard about Splenda Sweetener with Fiber, I was intrigued as I am an avid user of artificial sweeteners. I know that I probably do not get enough fiber. From what I have read, adults need between 20-35 grams of fiber per day. Yet, average Americans only get 10-15 grams! So when I saw a promotion for free packets of Splenda online, I jumped on it. I received two packets in the mail with coupons. Soon after, I tried it out in a cup of hot white tea.
Splenda Sweetener with Fiber has one gram of fiber in each packet. One gram of fiber did not impress me too much, but the more I thought about it, a person really could add to their daily fiber tally with the addition of the Splenda to their food and beverages.
Splenda Sweetener with Fiber tasted and looked just like the original Splenda. It was a sweet, white powder. It did not have a new consistency because of the added fiber. It tasted very yummy in my tea!
Have I noticed any difference with regularity? Not totally sure because I had a limited amount to try and due to that, only added 2 extra grams of fiber. I did feel like I was doing potential good for my digestion.
