Simpsons scrabble is a game I got my son last year for his birthday, the reason I picked this was because he was having a few difficulties with his spelling, so I thought this would maybe help him and he could have fun while learning, I cant remember exactly what price the game cost, but I bought it from Smyths toystore.
He was pleased with the game mostly because he likes the Simpsons, however he did find the game hard at first but as time went on he did begin to enjoy the game. Simpsons scrabble is similar to normal scrabble apart from the fact that there is a booklet with words that would be used in the Simpsons programme and these words are allowed, there are a few other slight differences but they are very slight.
Eventually my son did grow to like this game and his spelling did improve slowly but surely, although the only thing is like the normal scrabble this game would be difficult for the younger ones, my son was 10 when he got it and wasn't to impressed to begin with. It has been good for him as his spelling improved and he didn't even realise he was learning.
I wouldn't recommend for children under the age of 8 or maybe 9 years old!
