This musical drama is pretty fun to watch, especially if you want to hear Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth singing! They're HILARIOUS! However, I should salute all the actors and actresses for singing the songs on their own. And what I LOVE about this movie is also the setting. A VERY beautiful Greek island!

Plot: The story begins with Sophie (Amanda Seyfried), a 20-year-old girl, who wants to know her real father. She feels that there's a hole in her life because she has no idea who her father is. She's been secretly reading her mother's diary to find that out. There are three possible fathers (played by Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Stellan SkarsgÄrd), so unbeknownest to her mother, she invites all three men to her wedding party.

The problem is, her own mother (Meryl Streep as Donna) doesn't even know who the father is. Why? Because at that time, one guy left her and since she was broken-hearted, she slept with two other guys in a short period of time. So, anyway, all three men come and chaos begins.

Will Sophie find out who her real father is? Will the wedding go on smoothly? I can assure you that there are plenty of twists in the story and I LOVE the ending since it was SO unexpected!

Note: In my opinion, it's BRILLIANT that they manage to use ABBA songs in the movie without making it look "forced". The song choices and the plot run VERY well together. Applause, applause! The only thing that bothers me a bit is that they sing too much, even though it's supposed to be a musical, but all in all it's a good movie to watch.

The best acting from the movie is Meryl Streep as the mother of the bride. She is really a WONDERFUL actress!!!
