These gloves fit well, have a padded palm, and seem like they will be very warm for a lightweight glove. And the price was very reasonable.
With my small hands, it is always hard to find gloves that fit nicely. Imagine my surprise when I found these at a convenience store!
These are made by Manzella, the company that makes the glove liners that I like so much. They are stretch micro-fleece. The palm and inside of the index finger are actually lightweight leather, and the palm is slightly padded. They would probably be a bit slippery for driving, but I haven’t tried it yet. There is a double line of elastic across the back of the wrist, for a good fit. A plastic clip on the inner edge of the right glove clips to the outer edge of the left glove. I wish they were both on the outer edge.
The cuffs are long enough to protect the wrist without being too long, and they don’t flare so much that they annoy or catch on things. There is an odd little loop of fabric on the palm side at the edge of each cuff. I have no idea what that is for.
They are part of the “Manzella system.” They make these in warm, warmer, and warmest versions. These are “warm, ” and are for aerobic exercise and people who are warm-blooded.
Manzella also claims to have designed gloves specifically to fit women’s hands. Now that I own two different gloves by them, I can say that I think they have succeeded, at least for my hands. These claim to be Women’s medium to large. Now that seems odd, since my hands are small, smaller than many women I know. I would think the label should be small to medium.
They can be hand washed in cold water. 92% polyester, 8% lycra. Dry flat.
These are black. (The flash washed out the picture. They are not gray, but true black). They also came in navy blue and burgundy. I would rather have had either of the other colors, but they didn’t have them in my size.
