I'm a big fan of Maroon 5 and I always love listening to their music. I bought my copy of their Live album few years back and is still one of my most played CD until now. Started out in a garage, Maroon 5 has gone a long way of becoming the hottest and Grammy Award winning band today. Composed by Adam Levine - the vocalist, James Valentine on lead guitar, Jesse Carmichael on keyboard, Micky Madden on bass, and Matt Flynn on drums.

Their first debut album "Songs About Jane", which was released in June 2002 has won several awards up to triple platinum not only in the US but around the world. It had reached as the top 10 album of the Billboard 200 charts. Among there greatest hit singles was "Harder To Breathe"- their first single, "This Love"- the second single is a Grammy award winning song. Their "She Will Be Loved" (my favorite song), "Sunday Morning" and "Must Get Out"- also hit the top chart during its release.

The Album

Friday the 13th is the title of this live album, featuring the songs from "Songs About Jane" album. It was recorded as finale of their tour throughout 2003 til 2005 in Santa Barbara Bowl in California. This CD album compilation comes also with the DVD of their live performance, including behind the scene footage of the concert and the documentary of the band (detailed band history). Popular tracks included in this album are: Shiver, Through with You, Harder to Breathe,

This Love, Must Get Out, Sunday Morning, Sweetest Goodbye, She Will Be Loved and a lot more.

I love all the songs in the Songs About Jane album and much more excited hearing it live. The melody, the words and the beat of each song would always make me sing to the tune everytime I hear it. The CD sound a bit noisy for me but the DVD footage of the concert was really enjoyable. You can expect a real concert experience especially when played with on surround sound system, it's awesome. Glad to have my copy of this album.
