During one summer my family and I went to a family reunion in Saint Louis, MO. After our arrival from the airport, we went straight to the Marriot Courtyard hotel for check-in.

While driving towards the hotel, the front of the hotel was small and comfy looking almost as if I was going into a home. The lawn was neatly cut and full of beautiful flowers decorated alongside the hotel building.

When we went in to check-in, the employees were friendly and helpful and was there when you need service. Inside the hotel, there is a small snack area near the desk area with chips, candy and ice cream bars in the refrigerator. The lobby reminded me of a nice living room, with carpet, completed with a large sofa and matching sofa chairs with a table in the middle of it. The lobby area were quite big and if the guest want to, they can watch television on a HD flat screen or surf the web on a wireless laptop computer that is nearby.

The guest rooms were medium sized with a regular TV, cable and a small bathroom/shower room and closet to hang up your clothes. The rooms we were staying in were completely clean, including the carpet and the beds madely done.

For leisure, there were a indoor swimming pool not too far from the lobby and also a gym room. There were breakfast and dinner service, but I didn't attend it, or use the pooling area or gym since I was mainly spending time with my relatives.

I didn't get too much of scenery looking out my window in the suite room since it was on the side of the parking lot so there was not anything to look at but cars of course.

The Marriot Courtyard was comfortable and pretty nice. One day when I get another chance to stay at a hotel, I will choose the Courtyard again and explore it a little more.
